Behind the Author
Writing was always a hobby for Clare Bentley. However, it was not always something she thought she could make a living with. She wrote for pleasure for twenty years, while she was bring up her two children and was eventually encouraged by friends to pursue publishing. Realising she had something valuable to share with the world, she started a novel that took her years to write and allowed her to work through demons she had from her past growing up.
Since turning their passion into a profession, Clare Bentley is constantly exploring new themes, genres and ideas. It’s incredibly hard work, but she's never happier than when she's sat down at her laptop putting the opening words to a new book or story on paper.
